Degree Courses
1. M.A.
Possess B.A., B.S., B.Th or higher – total 72 credits + dissertation (6 credits)
One must possess a bachelor’s degree or be a graduate of a regular university. One receives professional training in areas such as church music, counseling, Christian education, and family ministry as a lay leader.
This is a 2 year course and requires a dissertation that must be approved by the faculty council.
2. B.Th
Highschool graduate or equivalent – total 144 credits + dissertation (6 credits)
This is a foundational course to all theology and one receives training in faith, academics, and culture to become a qualified leader.
This is a 4 year course and requires a dissertation that must be approved by the faculty council.
3. M.Div
Possess B.A., B.S., B.Th or higher – total 108 credits + dissertation (6 credits)
This is a 3-year foundational course of theological education for those that possess a bachelor’s degree or are a graduate of a regular university and is looking to become a church minister or missionary. One must complete courses in Biblical Theology and Theoretical Theology and build a theological foundation. One must write a dissertation that must be approved by the faculty council.
4. Th.M
Possess M.Div or higher - total 32 credits + dissertation (8 credits)
Possess M.A. or higher – total 64 credits + dissertation (8 credits)
This is a course in which one must possess a minimum degree of M.Div or M.A. and carries out in-depth research in their field of study.
1 year to complete course of study for M.Div holders and 2 years for M.A. holders
Course selection in their field of study and regulations regarding dissertation is the same as Ph.D.
5. D. Min
Possess Th.M or higher - total 64 credits + dissertation (16 credits)
This degree is granted to one who has completed academic research or practical research related to ministry or missions. D.Min candidates are selected amongst those who have completed Th.M or Th.M with an M.A.
One must complete 16 courses (4 hours a week).
Course selection in their field of study and regulations regarding dissertation is the same as Ph.D.
6. Th. D
Possess Th.M. or higher - 96 credits + dissertation (32 credits)
Th.D is the highest level of degree offered in our school and is a degree for academic research and professors. Th. M. candidates must complete 24 courses (4 courses a week).
The doctor’s course is divided into the field of Biblical Theology, Theoretical Theology, Practical Theology and one must select at least half of their field of study. Students that have been accepted as a doctoral candidate will be appointed an academic advisor depending on their field of study and under their supervision the candidate will be able to select their courses and carry out their research.
One must discuss with their academic advisor to select a topic for their dissertation and once submitted to the school, it must be approved according to faculty regulations.
The process is done in school and admission is granted once one’s academic preparation and contribution to the church is recognized.
